So, in addition to art, I really love playing board and card games.

A few months ago, I went down this rabbit hole on Tik Tok of people showing off their collections of ACEOS, or “Art Cards, Editions And Originals”. I had never heard of such a thing. I thought it was pretty cool. But the game lover in me was looking at these collections and thinking “I would want to play a game with them!”

One of my failed hobbies (ADHD is a bitch, ya know? Months of hyperfocus that turns into nothing when I get bored) was making up my own board games. So these ACEOS really got my brain turning.

So about a month and a half ago, in a Hyperfocus Level 100, I designed a board game that each card is a painting. I made a prototype with some rough drafts of the art, and took it on a camping trip where my husband and my mom and I play tested the game multiple times, made some adjustments, and created a full plan. It ended up being more fun than I was expecting!

So now I just need to make the paintings and figure out how to cost effectively make the final product.

The game is called “Intergalactic Hoarders.” It is a 2-5 player game with 250 cards of original paintings.
